Predators sign a young and talented Swedish forward

This kid made a name for himself during the 2017 Stanley Cup playoffs!

The Nashville Predators have signed Swedish left-winger Pontus Aberg to a two-year deal worth $1.3 million. Aberg will be making $650,000 in both the 2017-18 and the 2018-19 season. 


The 23-year-old Stockholm native was impressive during the 2017 Stanley Cup playoffs, scoring 2 goals and collecting 5 points in 16 games. Previously, he played 15 regular games with the Preds in which he collected 2 points.

Aberg spent most of the 2016-17 with Nashville's farm team club, the Milwaukee Admirals, where he scored 31 goals and collected 52 points in 56 games.
