A quiet day on the NHL's waiver wire, but there is one intriguing option.
According to a report from Sportsnet NHL insider Elliotte Friedman, the Nashville Predators have placed 27 year old defenseman Jordan Gross on waivers.

The Maple Grove, MN native has played just 15 games for the Predators this season, putting up three goals. In total he has just 25 NHL games split between the Preds, Colorado Avalanche and Arizona Coyotes.
