According to Katarina Kapustova, a spokesperson at University Hospital in Martin, Reway has been transferred to the intensive care unit of the department of pneumology and phthisiology on Saturday.

Specifics on his condition were not released and Reway has asked for privacy in regards to the details of his condition.

Reway was drafted in the fourth round by Montreal in 2013 and was set to begin his NHL career after signing his entry-level contract this offseason.

The former Gatineau Olympiques player split last season between Fribourg in the Swiss league, where he had 21 points in 19 games, and Sparta Prague in the Czech league, where he had five goals and 15 points in 14 games.
