PTO invitee wipes out his own head coach!

When you get invited to an NHL team on a professional tryout agreement, you want to do all that you can to impress and stand out. 

However, that does not include running over your new head coach. 

Unfortunately for PTO camp invitee Alex Petrovic, that’s exactly what he did on Friday. The blue liner, who received an invitation to take part in the Boston Bruins’ training camp, wiped out head coach Bruce Cassidy in a collision during a drill on his first day of training camp. 

The poor bench boss is still recovering from an offseason knee surgery he underwent after the Stanley Cup final against the St. Louis Blues.
