Former Chicago Blackhawks draft pick Kyle Beach has revealed that he is in fact "John Doe" from the Chicago Blackhawks' sexual abuse scandal during a one on one interview with TSN's Rick Westhead this evening.

Beach spoke about the abuse he endured from then-Blackhawks video coach Brad Aldrich as a member of the team's AHL affiliate Rockford IceHogs. In particular to singled out now disgraced Blackhawks GM Stan Bowman and former Blackhawks head coach Joel Quenneville, now with the Florida Panthers, for enabling the abuse and for not reporting it to authorities.

In particular, Beach made it clear that there's "no way" Quenneville didn't know about the abuse, despite Quenneville saying this past offseason that he had no idea about any of the allegations.

"Word spread pretty quick. I do believe that everyone in that locker room knew about it. Because the comments were made in the locker room, they were made on the ice, they were made around the arena with all different people of all different backgrounds – players, staff, media in the presence."

"I witnessed meetings right after I reported [the assault] to James Gary that were held in Joel Quenneville's office. There's absolutely no way he can deny knowing it."

As fate would have it, Quenneville and the Panthers were scheduled to take on the Boston Bruins in Florida this evening. But, surely Quenneville wouldn't coach given the day's events, right? Think again...

Quenneville coached his league-leading Panthers to a dominant 4-1 victory before quickly ducking out of the building in an effort to avoid facing the media.

And if that wasn't bad enough, Panthers GM Bill Zito was forced to make a statement to the media:

“We commend Kyle Beach for his courage in coming forward, to bring to light the pain he endured during his time in Chicago. The information ... is deeply troubling. There’s no question that the events described in [the] report are serious and severe.”

- Bill Zito

Huh? What? If this is so serious and severe then why the Hell is Quenneville on the bench? He's fit to coach a game, but not to take questions from the media? Oh right... that's because wins and losses mean more than being a responsible adult. Give me a break...
