The Los Angeles Kings might have won 4-0 against the Montreal Canadiens last night, but goaltender Jonathan Quick was unhappy about something.

Though he blocked all 40 pucks the Habs shot at him, Quick focused on his opposite netminder in his post-game comments.

Carey Price was subject to the mock cheers during the game and Quick defended the Habs goalie and called out the fans at the Bell Centre.

"It's unfortunate and probably not so deserving for Price," Quick said. "He's probably the best goalie in the world.

"But they didn't give up. They kept fighting. They have a great hockey team and they're going to right the ship and get going."

In the other dressing room, Price accepted the blame.

“I don’t have anything to say about it,” Price told the Montreal Gazette of the mock cheers. “It’s been done before and it will be done again. For me, I just got to focus on my job. I just got to find ways to stop the puck and keep our guys in it until we bury the puck. It just seems that I’m not doing that right now. So I just got to find a way to do it."

Some fans simply chose to leave early once the Canadiens failed to come back in the game; Price had one thing to say to them.

“It’s their money, they can do with it what they want.”

Hopefully things will get better for the Canadiens and their fans… Montreal will next host the New York Rangers on Saturday night.
