Philadelphia Flyers bruiser Radko Gudas has given a youngster a very rough introduction to the National Hockey League.

One of the major talking points of the summer was the free agency of top college prospect Jimmy Vesey, but his first highlight in the National Hockey League will be this preseason hit where he gets destroyed by Gudas.

It was a nasty looking hit from Gudas, and no one will be surprised if he hears from the NHL about this one, but it is worth noting that the former Hobey Baker award winner made things considerably worse by turning his back to the Flyers defenseman. Gudas was given 5 and a game misconduct on the play.
