The New York Rangers have announced that forwards Vitali Kravtsov and Jake Leschyshyn are being withheld from the lineup for tonight's game against the Detroit Red Wings for "roster management reasons".

From the Rangers:

The Rangers have been all over trade rumors this season and have made a couple significant trades in acquiring Vladimir Tarasenko and Tyler Motte, but the rumors about them acquiring Chicago Blackhawks superstar Patrick Kane still persist.

Meanwhile we know that Vitali Kravtsov has requested a trade out of New York for awhile now. It looks like the Rangers might have finally found a trade partner for his services, it's just a matter of waiting to see where he ends up. And if it's Chicago then might we see Patty Kane suit up for the Blueshirts?

Stay tuned.
