The Rangers took care of some minor business on Thursday.

With most of their free agents already signed and relatively little cap space left to make any kind of significant moves, the Rangers signed one of their final free agents of the summer, agreeing to terms on a new deal with restricted free agent forward Marek Hrivik.

While the Rangers did not disclose the terms of the deal, we now know via Rangers insider Larry Brooks that it's a one-year, two-way contract worth $600,000 at the National Hockey League level.

The 24 year old winger only appeared in five games for the Rangers last season, spending the majority of his 2015-2016 campaign with the Hartford Wolf Pack, and it's unclear what kind of role he will fill this upcoming season.
