Rangers hire Hockey Hall of Famer Angela Ruggiero

She's on her way to the Big Apple.

There's a new face in town for the New York Rangers. They've hired Hockey Hall of Famer Angela Ruggiero as an advisor to their Hockey Operations department.

Via the press release from The Hockey News: 

"Ruggiero, 43, played men’s and women’s professional hockey in her career suiting up in the CHL, CWHL, NWHL, and WWHL. 

A graduate of the Harvard Business School with a master's degree in sport management from the University of Minnesota, Ruggiero won Olympic gold and four World Championship gold medals as a member of Team USA.

Ruggiero is also the founder and CEO of Sports Innovation Lab, and has served as an International Olympic Committee Board Member. She was also integral in Los Angeles’ successful bid for the 2028 Olympic Games.

Ruggiero and Rangers' general manager Chris Drury trained together and were both long time USA national team members."
