Rangers’ K’Andre Miller takes a chuck out of scoreboard with high flip at MSG!
Uh oh… this could be coming out of his paycheque. Check out what happened in the video below:
The Rangers were hosting the Ottawa Senators at the Madison Square Garden in New York on Friday night, and took the early lead thanks to Artemi Panarin’s seventh tally of the season. While the goal got the crowd to its feet, it was an odd move from defenseman K’Andre Miller that got fans out of their seats, wondering if the scoreboard was going to come crashing down.
That’s because Miller flipped the puck high during the first period and took a chunk out of the scoreboard. It was visibly noticeable that a piece of the screen was coming off, and Miller couldn’t stop staring at it after he broke the damn thing.
The broadcaster and even team insiders present at the game quickly started to wonder if Miller would have to pay for the damages himself, with the money coming out of his next paycheque.
If the Rangers get the win in the end against the Senators, I guess Miller’s clumsy move will all be worth it.
