It was a tight game all the way to the end between the visiting New York Rangers and the Dallas Stars on Tuesday night. So tight that the players ended up in each other faces in the last seconds of the contest when a full on line brawl erupted in the crease of Stars goalie Ben Bishop.

It all started because the Rangers were desperate to tie the game that the Stars led 1-0 with less than a minute left to go. When Blue Shirts forward Dylan Strome decided to push Stars' Jason Dickinson into his own goalie, it was game over - you know what we mean.

Stars tough guy Roman Polak wasn't happy with the Rangers' desperation and ended up grabbing two opponents by the collar in the full on line brawl. Referees and linemen had trouble keeping the players separate, while Bishop struggled to get back on his feet after the hit.

The Rangers spent so much time in the melee that they forgot what was really at stakes and lost the game 1-0 as there was less than a second left after the brawl to make a difference.

The Stars fanbase was quite entertained, and managed to end the night with two victory points as well!
