Rangers release an update on Matt Rempe

The enforcer hasn't played since he got his bell rung by Ryan Reaves.

The New York Rangers have placed forward Matt Rempe on long-term injured reserve (LTIR).

Rempe, of course, has been out of action since getting his bell rung by San Jose Sharks enforcer Ryan Reaves in a game late last month.
