The New York Rangers have shared a devastating update on injured forward Filip Chytil.
The New York Rangers have just shared some truly terrible news.
In an official statement released on Sunday afternoon, the Rangers have confirmed that forward Filip Chytil will miss the remainder of the season as a result of his injuries.
Here is that statement:
Following a thorough evaluation of Filip Chytil after his recent setback from an upper body injury, it has been confirmed he will be out for the remainder of this season. The organization's top priority throughout this process has been Filip's health and we will continue to fully support him in his recovery with an aim to return to the 2024-25 season.
The fact that the Rangers state that they are aiming for a return in 2024-25 suggests that there is at least a possibility that Chytil may not even be ready by then.
