Rask receives incredible Metallica inspired tribute as he returns to Boston

Longtime Boston Bruins netminder Tuukka Rask has officially called it a career after an ill-fated comeback this season and tonight the Bruins welcomed him back to Boston with a special pre-game ceremony. 

Not only did Rask and his family receive a loud ovation from the crowd, he also got to drop the puck in the ceremonial face off and... best of all.. he got a wicked video tribute featuring Metallica's "Wherever I May Roam."

The video is hard to hear, but trust me it was absolutely electric.

For those who don't know, Rask is a HUGE Metallica fan. So much so that the team gifted him a replica Metallica drum kit for his 500th NHL game back in 2020.
