Yeah, you read that right!

A video clip of Thursday's game between the Pens and Sabres is making the rounds on social media, on which we can see Sabres' defenseman Rasmus Ristolainen getting hit hard... by some kind of ghost!

We'll let you judge by yourself... here is the weird play.

When giving a closer look to the play, we can clearly see Ristolainen, a 6'4 and 220 pounds monster, trying to stop the puck from leaving the Pens' zone with his body. Not only did he fail, the result of his attempt is hilarious.

The Sabres will be facing the red hot Flyers tonight at 7PM ET.

Igor Shesterkin almost fully recovered!

Talk about a miraculous recovery! Despite getting into a car accident less than two weeks ago and fracturing a rib, it appears Igor Shesterkin is ready to get back at it. According to Rick Carpiniello, who covers the New York Rangers for The Athletic, Shesterkin has been cleared to go and will likely be back between the pipes for the Rangers' game against the New Jersey Devils on Saturday.

Shesterkin and teammate Pavel Buchnevich of the New York Rangers were injured in a car accident in New York on Sunday, February 23rd. Buchnevich didn't suffer anything severe and was listed as day-to-day, while the Rangers said Shesterkin would be re-evaluated in two weeks.

"Igor was driving (in Brooklyn) and apparently a vehicle pulled a U-turn in front of them and there was a collision," Rangers president John Davidson said. "The airbags were deployed immediately and the seat belts were being worn by both players and thankfully for that, and I mean thankfully for that."

Despite having played a total of just 10 NHL games in his career, Shesterkin has been appointed the new number one goaltender in New York, beating out Alexandar Georgiev and veteran Henrik Lundqvist. Shesterkin has a record of nine wins and one loss, with a 2.23 goals against average and a .940 save percentage.

Shesterkin was drafted in the fourth round, 118th overall, by the Rangers in 2014. The 24-year-old has been playing professional hockey since the 2013-14 season when he suited up in nine games for Moscow Spartak of the KHL.
