Stephen Whyno has reported that recently acquired St-Louis Blues Forward Zach Sanford will be out of action for a long time.

#StLBlues say Zach Sanford, acquired from #Caps in Kevin Shattenkirk trade last season, is out 5-6 months with dislocated shoulder.

Sanford has dislocated his shoulder and will require surgery. Sanford was the piece that came back to the blues in the Kevin Shattenkirk deal.
