The Detroit Red Wings will be back in action tomorrow afternoon when they pay a visit to UBS Arena to take on the New York Islanders, whom they continue to trail by a couple of points in the Eastern Conference postseason chase.
But the unfortunate news to be passed along is that they're once again running into injury trouble. Already without the services of forward Michael Rasmussen, who won't be playing again this season after taking a shot directly off the kneecap, they'll also be without workhorse starting goaltender Ville Husso for tomorrow's game. According to the team, he's dealing with a "day to day" style ailment.
It will be Magnus Hellberg between the pipes tomorrow afternoon; Detroit has also re-called goaltender Alex Nedeljkovic from the American Hockey League affiliate Grand Rapids Griffins on an emergency basis.
