Red Wings finally make a trade, but not the one that fans want

This just in, the Detroit Red Wings have acquired a 4th round pick from the New Jersey Devils in exchange for Amadeus Lombardi.

Now, if you're asking, "Who?", you're not alone.

I had never heard of Lombardi before today's trade but my brief research shows me that he's a 23 year old minor-league forward.

The former 4th round pick put up 16 goals and 42 points with the AHL Grand Rapids Griffins this past season and will be given every opportunity to crack the Devils' roster next season.
