As if trailing 2-0 to the tanking Chicago Blackhawks wasn’t bad enough for the sinking Detroit Red Wings, they may have yet another injury to contend with.
Forward Robby Fabbri, who already has an extensive history of knee injuries, was checked awkwardly along the half wall during tonight’s first period at Little Caesars Arena and limped off the ice and made his way down the tunnel towards the dressing room.
As of the start of tonight’s second period, he has not returned - certainly not an encouraging sign.
Unfortunately, his night has officially been declared over.
