The Detroit Red Wings are once again dealing with an injury, and it's a figure who has already missed significant time this season due to injury. Forward Filip Zadina is dealing with a lower body ailment and is considered "day to day", according to the Red Wings official Twitter account.
In his place, it will be gritty forward Adam Erne coming into the lineup as the Red Wings take on the Philadelphia Flyers tomorrow afternoon at Wells Fargo Center in the City of Brotherly Love.
Zadina has once again had a disappointing campaign in terms of offensive output, having registered only three goals with four assists in the 30 games that he's played in. He's also in the first year of a three year contract extension that he signed last summer.
