The bad news is that the Detroit Red Wings haven't featured a completely healthy roster all season. Tyler Bertuzzi missed a month with a broken hand, Jakub Vrana has been absent the last month after entering the NHL Player Assistance Program, Robby Fabbri hasn't played due to rehabilitating his torn ACL, as well as a myriad of other absences.
The good news is that they're getting closer to getting a few pieces of the walking wounded back into action. According to head coach Derek Lalonde following yesterday's practice, defenseman Gustav Lindstrom as well as towering rookie forward Elmer Soderblom are currently listed as "day to day".
Soderblom, however, wasn't at today's practice.
The Red Wings are back in action tomorrow night at Little Caesars Arena against the Nashville Predators.
