The Detroit Red Wings have performed well so far in exhibition play, featuring a 3-2 record that has been powered by the emergence of young players such as the likes of Lucas Raymond and Moritz Seider

They'll be taking on the Columbus Blue Jackets tonight at Nationwide Arena in the heart of Buckeye country, and they'll unfortunately be without two valuable key assets. According to head coach Jeff Blashill, neither Michael Rasmussen nor Tyler Bertuzzi will be available tonight as his squad goes for their 4th win before the regular season begins October 14.

According to Blashill, Rasmussen is day to day. Meanwhile, Bertuzzi has yet to suit up in exhibition play as he continues his recovery from offseason back surgery.
