Red Wings release bad injury news
The Red Wings are in a serious slump, and this isn't helping.

There was bad news and even worse news for the Detroit Red Wings last night against the Anaheim Ducks at Little Caesars Arena.
Not only did they lose their third straight one-goal game in regulation, but they also lost a pair of players to injury in goaltender Ville Husso and forward Klim Kostin. Husso was hurt when he stretched to make a save during the 1st period, while Kostin was injured after a heavy (albeit clean) hit from bruising defenseman Radko Gudas.
According to the Red Wings, Husso is officially listed as "week to week", while Kostin is also listed as the same.
And with Alex Lyon still out until at least after Christmas, the Red Wings have inked goaltender Michael Hutchinson to ease the gap in the crease.
“Obviously, a physical setback. Probably a mental setback,” Lalonde said of Husso. “Like anyone else injured, you battle through it and get better and be ready to go when your time comes.”
“We’re put in a really tough situation with our goaltending, so I think we want to leave that for a little hope, in that day-to-day range,” Lalonde said.
