Ref knocked out of the game after taking a nasty high stick to the face.

A National Hockey League linesman had a rough go of it on Tuesday night.

Linesman Brian Murphy was the victim of a nasty high stick after he tried to do his job and get in the middle of a scrum that occurred during the match up between the Montreal Canadiens and the Anaheim Ducks.

Habs forward Brendan Gallagher drew the wrath of Anaheim's Kevin Bieksa after running over goaltender Jonathan Bernier and while that was the cause of the scrum, Murphy was the only victim.
