Referee shoves Tim Stützle over causing him to be offside on the play
Come on, ref!
HockeyFeed
Sure, we get that it’s not easy to be a referee in the National Hockey League, however, not all officials deserve our pity.
That’s because of Tuesday night, as the Ottawa Senators battled the Minnesota Wild, attempting to complete a comeback, one of the referees certainly got in the way.
As young star Tim Stützle skated backwards to enter the zone, he ran into the referee who simply shoved him back over the line, causing him to be offside on the play.
As Stützle fell to his knees, he turned to the official and complained, with the body language of someone saying COME ON REF.

The Senators came short of the comeback as the Wild got away with a 5-4 win in overtime.
