Hold on a minute here, folks, there isn't just Wes McCauley who can get the crowd going on his microphone during an NHL game.

On Tuesday night, we had a possible preview of the Stanley Cup final as the Winnipeg Jets faced the Tampa Bay Lightning and the game was loaded with action. Of course, the officials had to get in on the fun and that is exactly what referee Kyle Rehman did when he was caught calling a penalty on Bolts forward Cedric Paquette.

However, Rehman forgot his microphone had been turned on when he called out Paquette for an additional unsportsmanlike conduct after the star forward barely slashed his stick on the boards in frustration as he was heading to the penalty box.

The crowd was quick to react to Rehman's snapping at Paquette and booed the hell out of the official, who had forgotten his mic was on during the sequence...

Even captain Steven Stamkos cannot believe the call that was caught on the mic.

It however did not stop Rehman from keeping an out on Paquette, who ended up with a total of four minor penalties on the night. His behaviour did not stop the Lightning however, as Tampa Bay ended up winning the game 5-2 over the Jets.

It's always a pleasure when Wes McCauley gets on the mic:
