Could the Montreal Canadiens do the unthinkable and trade away their captain?

According to Sportsnet reporter Eric Engels, it could very well happen... If the guy coming in is named John Tavares.

If he could land the coveted superstar, Marc Bergevin would apparently be willing to give up a package including players like New York native Max Pacioretty and Alex Galchenyuk.

Still according to Engels, the only untouchables in Montreal would be Carey Price, Shea Weber, Jonathan Drouin and youngster Victor Mete.
