Report: a team has an offer on the table for Matt Duchene
Are we close to an end in this saga?

Colorado Avalanche fans and forward Matt Duchene are still wondering what will happen, and this, before the season has even started.
While general manager Joe Sakic admitted that he would continue to listen to offers, the Columbus Blue Jackets might be willing to place one.
Aaron Portzline of the Athletic has reported that the Jackets have an offer on the table for Duchene.
"The Jackets have an offer on the table for Duchene, one that almost certainly includes defenseman Ryan Murray." Portzline wrote.
Sakic's price for the forward remains steep and Blue Jackets GM Jarmo Kekalainen has mentionned that "it is never too late to make a move."
Portzline has noted that the Avalanche and the Jackets are perfect trade partners: Columbus carry depth in young defenders which would help the Avalanche immensely.
Plus, the Jackets covet Duchene and could be willing to put an end to his ongoing saga.
