Chicago Blackhawks forward Alex DeBrincat has a night for the ages on Monday! The 19-year old forward scored his first NHL hat-trick, and he added an assist, for a total of four points...in two periods only! The Blackhawks are currently leading the Anaheim Ducks 6-2 with 18 minutes left to play in the third period.
DeBrincat, drafted 39th overall by the Blackhawks in 2016, has already 10 goals and seven assists for 17 total points in his 23rd game of the season.
He certainly produced at a high level in junior hockey, as he registered 405 points in 246 games played in the OHL with the Erie Otters (regular season and playoffs included).
Way to go kid!
