According to a report form St Louis Post-Dispatch writer and St Louis Blues insider Jeremy Rutherford, the Blues have signed 31-year-old veteran defenseman Nate Prosser to a two-way contract.

No financial details or information about his new deal’s term has been released, but it’s expected that he’ll provide the team with depth on the blue line and possibly even spend some time in the AHL where he’ll provide veteran leadership to the team’s developing prospects.

In 282 career NHL games, all with the Minnesota Wild, has scored seven goals and 38 points, while also adding 210 penalty minutes.
