He's been out for nearly two weeks.
The Minnesota Wild are closing in on two weeks without one of their leaders, forward Zach Parise.
Parise suffered an MCL injury to his right leg when he took a hit from Nasvhille Predator James Neal who delivered a number of questionable hits throughout that game, and was the recipient of multiple penalties as a result.
It was uncertain how long Parise would be forced to missed, but according to head coach Mike Yeo, Parise has taken to the ice this to week to resume skating, While Yeo did not give an exact timeline, he hinted at the possibility of Parise playing when the Wild return home.
"He's getting better,'' Yeo said as per the Star Tribune. "We'll see where he's at when we come home from the road trip.''
