Report: Big update on Zetterberg's future with the Red Wings.
Update from the captain himself.

We have some very good news for fans of the Detroit Red Wings.
Earlier this summer reports surfaced out of Sweden suggesting that Red Wings captain Henrik Zetterberg did not intend to play for the entirety of the four years remaining on his current deal with the Wings, but now we have new information.
Red Wings insider Ansar Khan of Mlive.com is now reporting that Henrik Zetterberg has informed him that those reports were not accurate, and that instead he intends to play out the remaining term of his deal. Zetterberg did state that he hopes he will make it for the full four years, although he did add that it would only happen if he remained healthy enough to do so.
For a team that just had to deal with the burden of Pavel Datsyuk's contract after he left the team early, this has to come as a big relief.
