Last night the Chicago Blackhawks played against the Calgary Flames for the second time since the start of the 2016-2017 NHL regular season.

The first time they met, the Flames beat the Blackhawks 3-2 while going into shootouts.  This time the Blackhawks have redeemed themselves and won the game with a final score of 5-1.

Corey Crawford has once again put on an incredible performance letting in only one goal the entire night.  He currently has a record of 95 saves made on 98 shots taken within the last three games the Blackhawks have played.  His performance at even strength averages at about .979 in the past eight games.

As the Blackhawks have increased their ability on the PK we see a drastic difference in play and performance.  Goalies have less pressure on them and the skaters can focus on gaining control of the puck and putting in the oppositions net.

Blackhawks have scored eight goals in the past two games and only let in one during last nights clash with the Flames.

Give it up for the Chicago Blackhawks and cheer them on as they play again tomorrow versus the Colorado Avalanche.
