According to a report from St. Louis Blues insider Tom Timmermann of the St. Louis Dispatch, the Blues will be without defenseman Vince Dunn for tonight’s pivotal Game 6 against the San Jose Sharks.

The Blues have a chance to eliminate the Sharks and move themselves to the Stanley Cup Final, but they’ll need to do so without the services of Dunn after he took a puck to the face in Game 3. He’s considered day to day and could return to action for the Blues’ next game, but whether that’s Game 7 of the Western Conference Final or Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final remains to be seen.

The 22 year old Dunn has two goals and seven points in 16 playoff games with the Blues this year, after a breakout regular season in which he potted 12 goals and 35 points in 78 games.
