No doubt about it, Vancouver Canucks rookie Brock Boeser was the breakout star of the 2018 NHL All-Star Game weekend. After winning the shooting accuracy competition by defeating snipers like Steven Stamkos and Sidney Crosby at the Skills Competition on Saturday night, Boeser put on a show today leading Team Pacific to victory and taking home weekend MVP honours. Incredible.

Boeser lit it up playing on a line with Calgary Flames superstar Johnny Gaudreau and Arizona Coyotes defenceman Oliver Ekman-Larsson. The chemistry between Gaudreau and Boeser was apparent from the start:

All in all, a pretty good day for the Canucks rookie. An All-Star appearance and MVP honours.

Oh… and the kid earned a cool $550,000 for his work.

Woooooooooow! How as your weekend? Did you make over half a million this weekend?

This kid just continues to impress, but Canucks fans have known about his potential for months now. With today’s performance the rest of the NHL is finally starting to wake up to Boeser’s skill and talent. The kid is a legit superstar in the making and has the potential to become the NHL’s next true goal scorer.
