Report: Bruins key player good to go against Washington!
Keystone Press

Boston Bruins head coach Bruce Cassidy confirmed that forward Brad Marchand will be in the lineup to face the Washington Capitals this Saturday night. Marchand missed practice on Friday, after he suffered a lower-body injury against the Vegas Golden Knights on Thursday night.

Marchand, 29, has already registered 13 points in 11 games so far this season. He will play on a line with Patrice Bergeron and David Pastrnak on the Bruins new top unit. Cassidy reunited these three together earlier this week with both David Backes and David Kejci out of the lineup with injuries. The trio didn't register a point against the Golden Knights on Thursday.

The Boston Bruins drafted Marchand 71st overall in 2006. In 545 games played in the NHL, the Canadian winger registered 387 points, and added 43 points in 72 playoff games.
