Report: Capitals bringing back retro “Screaming Eagle” logo for 2022-23
Will never forget Ovi's rookie season in these sweaters.

According to multiple online reports, the Washington Capitals will be bringing back their retro "Screaming Eagle" logo for the 2022-23 season to be used with the NHL's new "Retro Reverse" line of jerseys.
And for all you old-timers out there grumbling that this isn't a "retro" logo well... it hasn't been used in nearly 30 years. Admit it, it's an old logo and you're even older...
The Caps, of course, rocked this look from the mid-to-late 1990s all the way through 2007 when they returned to their classic red, white and blue look.
To be honest, I prefer the Screaming Eagle logo to the classic Capitals wordmark, but I like the red look more than the blue or black look.
