Report: Capitals will advance because “our goalie is better.”

After Alexander Ovechkin promised the Capitals will advance to play either Tampa Bay or Montreal in the next round, another Capital has come out and made a bold statement. When asked why the Capitals would defeat the New York Rangers in a decisive Game 7 matchup on Wednesday, Evgeny Kuznetsov said: “Our goalie’s better, I don’t know what you want me to say. Our goalie’s better.” Of course Kuznetsov believes in Braden Holtby's abilities as he has been nothing short of spectacular in this series so far. Still, stating he is better than Rangers goaltender Henrik Lundqvist is certainly an interesting comment. Who do you have your money on?
