REPORT:Desperate Offensive Adjustment
Chicago Sun-Times

Tonight the Chicago Blackhawks will be playing at the Prudential Center versus the New Jersey Devils for their eighth game since the start of the 2016-2017 NHL regular season.

Yesterday Blackhawks fans were surprised as coach Q shuffled the offensive lines quite drastically once again.

Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews are expected to line up together for tonight's match alongside Richard Panik who will be moved to the LW.

Kane and Toews rarely line up together but when they do its usually when the Blackhawks are feeling a little desperate to get some points.  This could also be a way to get Toews going since he has been having a slow start to the season.  Maybe if he and Kane can work some magic out there tonight it could give the team the overall momentum to carry on forward.

The main focus tonight needs to be giving up less penalties and shutting down the PK from the start.  Tonight's game is important because it could be the first of the season in which the Blackhawks take control of this major issue.

Cheer on as the Chicago Blackhawks take on the New Jersey Devils tonight at the Prudential Center at 7:30 p.m. (ET)
