It’s unlikely the Oilers will re-sign unrestricted free agent centre Derek Roy now that they’ve got McDavid, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, Anton Lander, Leon Draisaitl and Boyd Gordon in the middle, but New Jersey needs a centre.Roy was credited with helping turn around the perception of Nail Yakupov as a potential draft bust in the latter half of last season, and he may be the player who suffers the most from the lost of Roy's veteran presence.
