Report: Ducks announce two roster moves

The Anaheim Ducks have recalled forward Mike Liambas from the San Diego Gulls (AHL) and reassigned forward Kalle Kossila to San Diego, the team announced on Sunday.

Liambas, 28, was never drafted in the NHL. He played for the Nashville Predators and Chicago Blackhawks organization. In one game played in the NHL with Nashville last season, without registering a point. In 13 games played in the AHL this season, he registered five points.

Kossila, 24, was signed as a undrafted free agent by the Ducks in 2015, after he spent four seasons with St. Cloud State (NCAA). The Finnish left wing has two points in seven games played with the Ducks this season. At the AHL level, he had six points in six games.

The Ducks are playing against the Florida Panthers tonight.
