According to multiple online reports, Edmonton Oilers forward Evander Kane neglected to join the customary handshake lineup following the Florida Panthers' Stanley Cup victory this evening.

Kane was ejected from the game in the 3rd period after receiving a Game Misconduct penalty, so it stands to reason that he was hittin' the showers but it's still a good show of sportsmanship to come back out onto the ice to congratulate your opponent.

Matthew Tkachuk is, once again, a Stanley Cup champion!

Tkachuk's Florida Panthers secured back to back Stanley Cup championships this evening with a dominant 5-1 victory over the Edmonton Oilers in Sunrise, FLA this evening.

It's no secret that Tkachuk had been playing through injury this series and after the game tonight he finally revealed to fans the gruesome nature of his multiple injuries.

Tkachuk told reporters this evening that he tore his hip adductor off the bone and suffered a hernia, as well.

Edmonton Oilers netminder Stuart Skinner has given up an absolutely awful goal at a critical moment in Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final this evening.

With the Oilers down 2-0 to the Florida Panthers late in the 2nd period, Skinner bobbled a harmless looking point shot and coughed up a terrible rebound that ultimately ended up in the back of the net for a 3-0 Panthers lead.

The Panthers are now just 20 minutes away from back to back Stanley Cup championships.
