Report: Fans will need to wait longer for Carter's return

The Los Angeles Kings are still doing much better than some expected after the serious injury to top forward Jeff Carter, and the fact that Marian Gaborik never started the season... 

Carter was originally listed as out indefinitely. 

Carter was hurt back in a game on Oct. 18 when the skate of Montreal Canadiens defenceman Jeff Petry accidently connected with Carter's lower leg during a hit. 

As for Gabroik, he will likely return in mid-December after sitting out the season so far with a knee injury. Gaborik took part in practice Sunday for the first time in over a month.
