Report: Flames come to terms on short term deal with free agent forward.

The Calgary Flames have locked up their last remaining free agent Michael Ferland.

According to a report from TSN insider Darren Dreger the Flames and Ferland came to an agreement Thursday on a two year deal worth a reported $1.65 million dollars. The way the contract breaks down wil see Ferland earn $750,000 in the first year and a slight raise to $900,000 in year two.

Ferland played in 26 games for the NHL Flames last season recording 2 goals and 3 assists going +1 during that stretch, he also spent significant time with the AHL's Adirondack Flames,
