The Philadelphia Flyers may be repeating a big mistake from their past.
Last season when the Flyers handed out bracelets to commemorate the passing of the late and great Ed Snider, the man who was the guiding hand behind that organization since it's inception, some of the fans in attendance disgraced themselves and their team by tossing them onto the ice in frustration.
Now the Flyers have announced that they will once again be handing out bracelets to commemorate Snider in the Flyers home opener, and one can only hope that history will not be repeating itself.
Ed Snider was a great man, and if for no other reason than to honor his memory we hope the fans in attendance this evening show a great deal more class than they did the last time around.
Here's what happened last time for those who missed it.
