Former first round pick for the Philadelphia Flyers is benefiting from a change of scenery. German Rubtsov since being traded from the Chicoutimi Saguenéens has been finding his stride and benefiting from playing on a strong team in the Quebec Major Hockey League.

Rubtsov was traded to the Acadie-Bathurst Titan where has 2 goals and five assists in 6 games and is joining a team which features highly touted prospects including recent Anaheim Ducks draft pick Antoine Morand.

According to Future Considerations, Rubtsov can become an elite player in the NHL one day.

"He can be a dominant puck-possession guy, a strong puck-distributor, a finisher, a defensive specialist and even a pest at times,."- Future Considerations
