Report: GM admits he’s looking to make a deal

He’s not done adding yet, folks!

Despite inking veteran defenseman Johnny Oduya to a deal just yesterday, Ottawa Senators general manager Pierre Dorion insists he’s not done adding just yet.

While discussing the Oduya contract with a local area radio station, Dorion emphasized that he’s still looking to add a forward either through free-agency or through trade.

Interesting. Now, don’t forget that Dorion is no stranger to the trade market. Since being officially appointed to the position of general manager in April of 2016, the GM has made 10 trades, many of them making quite a splash. Remember the Zibanejad for Brassard swap? That was Dorion. Ditto for the Burrows and Lazar deals too. The GM isn’t afraid to make a deal and if this report is to be believed, we may have another transaction to add to his growing record.
