The Las Vegas Golden Knights are building up their roster in whatever ways they can, and that may even mean picking up players rival teams did not deem worthy.

The Golden Knights have announced that they have agreed to terms on a one-year contract with former Columbus Blue Jackets second round draft pick Oscar Dansk.

From the Golden Knights official website:

Vegas Golden Knights General Manager George McPhee announced today, July 3, the team has signed goaltender Oscar Dansk to a one-year contract through the 2017-18 season worth an average annual value of $650,000 at the NHL level.

It's unclear if they intend to use him at the NHL level next season, but at just 23 years of age there is still time for Dansk to show the Blue Jackets made a mistake in releasing him.
