Last night 5-1 loss against the Los Angeles Kings was the 6th straight for the Montreal Canadiens.

With a 1-5-1 record, changes are needed and more than ever GM Marc Bergevin is expected to do something, anything, sooner than later.

But is he capable of turning things around? That is the question floating around in Montreal.

After the game, Stu Cowan of the Montreal Gazette reports that Bergevin was seen coming out of the coaches office and the expression on his face told alot. According to Cowan, he seemed in shock.

Bergevin looked dapper as always in a fancy blue suit and brown shoes, but it was the expression on the GM’s face that told the story on this night.
Six straight losses for the Canadiens, who are now 1-5-1 to start the season, and defeats on back-to-back nights in California while being outscored 10-3 in total following a 5-2 loss to the Sharks Tuesday in San Jose.
Bergevin’s expression looked more shocked than anything.

Bergevin was criticized this summer for let go of fan favorites Alexander Radulov and Andrei Markov. [pub]
